It’s a holiday weekend, Ya’ll… (like you didn’t know)… and it’s also a First Friday here in Oldtown Salinas. That means The Cartoonery will be open and buzzing with folks. The Alternative Cafe in Seaside has joined the venues carrying Squid!  Yay, Alternative Cafe! Check’em out… it’s a groovy place.

Mouse has found her “playful” side and is also warming up to OC (other cat) Sassy (or rather, Sassy is warming up to Mouse!). OC Stoney still won’t come in the house… well, just to nibble at the food dish… and then… SCRAM!

All is going according to plan!

As this photo might indicate… the books have made to the Squid Warehaus! Oh yah!

Now, the fun begins… putting all those pre-orders together with their special toons and taking them to the postals! If you pre-ordered your copy, you can expect that your book will be mailed early next week… providing my hand doesn’t cramp up from all the special pre-order drawing!

Here’s a shot of Harold (who’s in charge of shipping) checking the shipment after is arrived in our Squid warehaus…. All was in order, of course!
