Harold is pretty excited. There’s lots to look forward to this weekend. Jack of Gulls is our table mate, and just announced, George Leon will be Stumping it with us on Saturday. It’s gonna be crazy fun and Rawk-ous… especially at the Jupiter Party on Saturday… There’s gonna be a Draw off! (Where’s David Bowie to judge it?…. Zoolander… anyone?) Anyhoo, what stuff is gonna be at the table? Harold, of course! (Stufftie, that is).

There will be the Squid Row: Welcome To The Neighborhood book. The book dropped just after Stumptown last year, so if you don’t have a copy… now’s your chance! There will be t-shirts, new pin-buttons, magnets and original watercolors, and prints…. I will be sketching’ at the table, too.
And new for the festival… Coffee Break Squid… a collection of sketches from various
sketchbooks… you might recognize some of the drawings as some of them made it to comic form. Pick one up! They are so affordable!
Live Art… was just this super fun fund-raising event thrown by The Youth Arts Collective this past weekend. You may have seen my nod to the YACsters… I mention YAK in Squid Row. Usually the YAKers throw art events where Randie & Ryan attend… and munch out on the snacks. THIS event not only had great food, but also tasty wines, life-drawing (where you can be the model or the drawer)… you could also buy on-the-spot art made by YACsters or participating guest artists. There were t-shirt painting booths and live music… GAH! Hats off to the YACsters! You guys know how to throw a hum-dinging par-tay!

This year, Squid Row and Gulls Comic(from Portland) are RAWKING a table together… It’s gonna be RAWKous! Table E-10 is gonna be funning it!

Bring yer sketchbook and I will doodle in it (small doodles I will doodle gratis… more involved drawings of spaceships with wacko crazy monsters or other such specified-ness are not so gratis).

Hello, Squiddies! 
I have returned from sporadically sunny San Diego. It was an amazing weekend (despite the on and off rain). My sister got married off to…. A SQUID! No joke… Her new hubby is a Naval officer. Anyhoo, the weekend was filled with celebratory dinners, last minute prep, phoofing (or foofing), marrying activities and partying… lots of eating and drinking… and so forth. It was filled with family and friends and old friends and older friends. I must say that I am pooped from all the good timing.
So this is where I’ve been and my apologies for my absence from the comments… I was all consumed by said activities above… and I did not mean to ignore you (I’m sorry, Tony, that I didn’t get to your comments until now… but WELCOME). Smiles upon all you’s!
Now it’s back to the drawing board! Literally…
