Made it! Harold is having a ball. We are about to do the meet & greet… Harold makes friends pretty easily… So I’m ready to mingle with da tooners. I loaded a few snaps from the trip… Oh, & pics are loading on MY facebook page… So look for Bridgett Spicer & friend me , yah?
Well, my bags aren’t packed just yet, but I am gonna be off to Vegas this weekend… for “Cartoonist Purposes.” Oh, yes… It’s true…. and I am taking Harold with me (this could be interesting)… We are attending the second Success in Comics Seminar. It should be a fun weekend of learning, networking… and… quiet cartoonist debauchery. Keeping Harold in check might prove challenging… but I will do my best.
I will post some things on Squid Row’s Facebook page… if you haven’t yet been there, drop in so you can see what mischief Harold and I get up to. Fun starts Friday when we head off. Harold is pretty excited… he’s never been to Vegas, so this will be a new experience for him. Now if I can just figure out how to keep him out of the bars.
Okay all you mixologists out there… here’s your chance to show yer stuff! Harold, our drink-enthusiast stufftie, is laying down a challenge… Come up with the new Lava Luna’s Tiki Bar drink, Kapu. That’s right… YOU concoct that forbidden drink!
What would one garnish by winning said contest? An original watercolor featuring our stuffed pal, your name, and your Kapu concoction. Mind you, there isn’t any ownership here… It’s all out there for funzies. No copyrights here… except for Harold and Squid Row and all.

When to when? Submissions will be accepted now, Sunday, February, 19th 2012… through February 29th, 2012 (Leap year!). The judges will include Harold, myself, my minions- Judy & Nelson… and a guest judge. Send your drink concoctions to: brig@squidrowcomics.com before March 1, 2012. Happy mixing!

Hello, My Squiddies…
This is your “get ready” post.
Harold gets bored easily. He’s been bugging me about some stuff lately. Apparently, he thinks the website is in need of some change… so I bring you fair warning that you will be seeing some different-ness going on with the site. If you experience some blurgs, blorps and/or interruptions… this is why. If these things persist, let me know.
Another thing… A while back I told you about Harold concocting something…. and being most excited about it. Well, that time is coming up in the near-ish future. Harold keeps poking at me as if to say… “Are we ready? Can’t we do it now?” He’s such an excitable little stufftie. Soon, Harold… soon.
