Tired
There is such a thing as a breaking point…. where dissatisfaction reaches that level where you are actually ready to do something about it.
As a person of person-ness, I tolerate a lot. I will often put up with much more than most…. often with a bit of a grumble… but I endure. I am not proud of this… but there it is. Randie, I’m afraid is very much like this.
I understand that completely. Read the post that I made on the previous page to see an example of what my mate and I are tired of. It’s recently hit the breaking point for my mate and he has come to the conclusion that he really needs a change of employment and living. It will still most likely take us more than a year to implement that change, but we are both so very tired of our surroundings and the people who live here that we are just about ready to flat out leave everything behind and just take our chances.
Ouch Randy, you really need a proper place to live in… I hope Enid had an idea? (oh alliteration!)
Watch out, Randie! Getting tired of scraping by can lead to fits of responsibility that will result in more money to get ahead. You may be in danger of becoming… MOTIVATED!!
My mom used to say, “real change doesn’t happen until you are thoroughly SICK of the old way.” Time to make a budget, Randy, and stick to it! No more pop-in-tarts!
Anybody remember Randie’s old apartment? It burned down and the landlord was supposed to hold it for her once it was renovated. Maybe it’s time to do a little drive by with Ryan or call up the old landlord.
Hi, Squiddies All!
I agree that real change happens when you cross that little imaginary line of sick and tired-ness… Sometimes you wake up and say, THAT IS IT! NO MORE! We shall see if Randie has reached this threshold. *Pash… you may be there, too… at least I hope so!
Ep… Yes, the old house… and B.B. and the “art garden”… those were the days. You, too, cans see these things if you hit the way-back button (Old Squid Toons… above today’s comic).
Val… hee hee… I loves me some alliteration!
Pete… One can hope. One can hope!
“I’ll take a nap, but I won’t like it, gosh-darnit!”
It’s called “maturing”, Ms S.
Dada….zzzzzzzzz….
EofO…. she’ll get there… someday…. she’ll put it off first.
