From the LouvreName that painting! 

Truly a random photo… this was taken on my first trip to Paris back in 2008. I visited the Louvre for the first time… and photographed as much as I could. It was so overwhelming. There are masterpieces stacked on masterpieces on extremely high walls.

Now if you follow art circles and the news in general… you know that there was a treasure trove of paintings re-discovered in Germany. They were stolen by the Nazis from Jewish households in WWII. Among them are works of Matisse, Chagall, Picasso and so many more! They total over 1,400 in number.

This is much needed to counteract the needless proposed burning of priceless artworks stolen by that fool in Rotterdam.
