Potter Thon
When the last book was released, I was vacationing in Canada with the minions. We attended a Harry Potter Release Party at a Chapters (like our Borders) in Victoria. It was fun… there was the sorting hat,of course… (I believe I was sorted into RavenClaw, if I remember correctly)… there were slimy snakes and spiders in “the dungeon” and Potter-heads all over. We got the Canadian/Brit version of the book, which was nice… where they use that other language. Fun Stuff.

BTW, nice trick using the sketchbook to summarise the evening (and totally save on drawing effort!). And I’d happily hang with a Potter nerd like Midge – she seems like a lot of fun! 😀

One of these days I’ll figure out what all of this means. I am unacquainted with the world of Harry–uh, “Larry” Potter (phew! Don’t want J.K.’s lawyers coming after ya, Brig!).
I do have to say that I’m lovin’ Midge! Here’s hoping we see more of her.
I’m glad you all like Midge… I am having fun with her as well. You will continue to see more of her in the future as Mouse needs a “gal pal”… won’t say no more.
Joe… Cuddling with Mouse and Dolby wasn’t on Randie’s partying to do list. I would love to see the NEXT page of Randie’s sketchbook.

The next page of Randie’s sketchbook notwithstanding, I would love to know what Mouse was dreaming. At least he didn’t do that ‘ol yawn…stretch out the arm…and hug move, or Randie would have not been likely to have still been there.
brig… Ya know, there’s a movie house a block away from the wonderful social gathering spot that is The Cartoonery that will be showing the final Harry Potter film starting Friday…and continuing on for at very least a week and a half thereafter…possibly even to next FF…

brig… technically, Midge also has one eye…that we can see at least. And there was a Futurama episode where Leela got a fake second eye to better fit in with the gang.
I was being a bit vague with the theater-Cartoonery social-outing insinuation. Any open plans? Not that they’d help me, but I’m hoping to be in town for the next FF.
