Into Nantes…
Our first nite in Nantes didn’t go as planned. The person scheduled to meet us at the vacation rental did not meet us And was unreachable. as it got later and later, it was apparent we needed a Plan B… Rent a room at the nice hotel Mercure down the street. This was the view from the room. We did get a hold of the contact person… but it was nice to just crash. Church bells sounded in the next morning… How European.
It would probably work better if the picture had the same orientationn as the text.
You know how everything in Australia is upside down? Europe is only halfway around the world so everything appears sideways.

Hmmm…. My ipad shows everything as being right side up and correct… Perhaps the fact that we are very far away on the other side of the world … Like Yat said… Bare with me…. She said chomping on a baguette.
