The fun never stops aroun’ here…

Last First Friday was a real humding-ey event… Rose (pictured here) is getting to know Harold better. Thanks to all who came out for the silliness in Salinas. (Pictures up soon on Squid Row Mama’s Flickr… stay tooned). UPDATE> photos are now up of F.F. and Harold messin’ about in Monterey!

And speaking of silliness… my path has crossed a number of local cartoonists recently…

I shared some joe with local tooner… Alex Shumacher. He hails from Salinas, but has spent time up in The City doin’ the toon thang… volunteering at the Cartoon Art Museum and hanging in those ink&pen circles.

Here’s some of his work that he was nice enough to leave with me… This is some toonage aimed at kid’s nutrition…

And here’s some fine work by regular Squiddie, Stick-figurer… and local toon&punster Chris Dreyer… (this would be the third in a series for Stick)… Chris’ “Writer’s Block” certainly mirrors Ryan’s difficulties in London.

Harold has had a busy week… He’s gotten to meet so many new people… which may need a whole other blog post (check back monday!) This is a new pal he found at The Monterey Farmer’s Market!

So what am I listening to?

The Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack… yes, it’s on my top 10 favorite albums of all time…

What else is on that list? Here’s a few…

Off the Wall: Micheal Jackson (before the kookyness)

Snoopy & the Red Baron: The Royal Guardsmen (funny, this was just mentioned this past week in the comments section!)

The Mystery Men Soundtrack: Various Artists

Chicago (The Musical): The Original Broadway Cast (the movie soundtrack is awesome, as well!)

Jesus Christ Superstar: (not the original cast!)-the London version

What’s on your list?
