Heh. Randie doesn’t usually drink much to begin with, so she is going to be soooooooo hurting in the morning. Hope Ryan is ready for a super-grouchy hungover Randie.
Tip: LOTS of coffee, Ryan … and muffle sounds as much as you can.
What goes down, might come up? Are these drinks on Randie’s bucket list? You may want to have a bucket ready!
A good bartender knows when you should say “When.”
Me? I’d rather say: “When Irish eyes are smilin’!”
I was drunk once. And only once. It was 1983 and my brother introduced us to 7&7’s (Seagrams 7 and 7-Up.) They tasted just like wine coolers. We got giggly, then drunk, then sick. (Fortunately all at home in Hawaii.) Never again. For me, the worst was loss of control.
I enjoy alcohol. In fact, my son Tim and are going to a beer-making class this evening and making our first batch of beer over the weekend. But all things in moderation, and especially alcohol.
I’m sure Randie will come through this, but I’ve a hunch she’ll be a little subdued for a few days. And I hope she learned a lesson.
Hope the floor is clean for when Randie slides out of her chair.
A good bartender knows when to stop serving their customer, but what if the customer’s limit is less than their first drink?
If Randie is going to be a regular, after having already spent her month’s rent on the first night, her drinks may have to be of the non-alcoholic soda and fruit juice variety.
Given Randie’s state, I’m wondering if Spill will appreciate Squish’s humor.
I have a bit of Randie in me… we don’t know when to stop a good thing. It’s an appropriate cartoon for today, as last night was “fun thursday” and the finale of Project Runway… it was pizza and Sambuca! I was asleep by 8:30. AND that was tipsy not smashed!
I’m drinking an extra round of coffee this morning… but I don’t feel bad. (Thanks, God).
… a bucket might be helpful, someone to hold Randie’s hair, a mop….
Trouble with some alcoholic drinks is that they are so sweet and tasty that the alcohol is less noticeable than the effect of the beverage. I think that’s what happened to Randie, poor girl.

Sorry for being such a grump, guys.
Ha! RANDIE’S SMASHED!
Reminds me of the t-shirt saying…
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor.
Hope the floor is clean for when Randie slides out of her chair.

LOL Can’t wait to see the aftermath of that in tomorrow’s comic!
