Thanks, Joe… Emily will make the list…. even if she’s a “former girlfriend” (I’m not saying nuthin’ about future strips… I am just saying that sometimes people come and go in life… especially at an artist/writer’s whim).
On a related note… Has anyone seen the excellent 40th Anniversary Book for Doonesbury? It has a lovely flow chart inside of all the characters that have been in the strip!
I’m tickled to death to see the word “Yepper” in today’s comic. It amuses me greatly, especially when pronounced the correct way (YEP-URR!!).
/one can only imagine how much more popular the band Yes would have been had they been called Yepper
