The warm air from an underground train. I felt that in Boston. It’s so warm underground. Like the Metro in Paris. And I totally relate to an idea to jot down at any given time. Gotta have that pen and paper ready!

When I worked near Independence Hall about 15 years back, I would take the train into Philadelphia and get off at Market East Station. If it was a miserable or cold day, I’d walk six blocks from the underground train station to Jeweler’s Row, which was a block from where I worked; the entire trip underground. Since all but the last block was in a mall, it was a pleasant stroll. (And a pleasant dash when I was heading home and needed to catch the train.)
