Hate. Let me tell you how much I have come to hate this job since I began to work here. There are 387.44 millions miles of printed circuits in the wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word hate was engraved on each nanoanstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one billiomth of the hate I feel for Calamari Kitchen at this micro instant. For gumbo. Hate. Hate.

I have to repair printed circuit cards that have been around since 1977! Half of our test equipment has been out for calibration since May and the Cal Lab says that some of these are so old that they can’t be calibrated.

This past week I’ve been plagued by these tiny flying insects. It’s even more annoying when I’m at the computer and can’t move because I’m playing a game or online. They go right by my face and land on my arm, my hand, or the screen. To paraphrase Jimi Hendrix:
” ‘scuse me while I kill this fly!”
