anatman… you are sort of correct… that would be Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey (Cypress City in the comic, here)… which is NEAR Cannery Row (simply “The Row” in the strip). I think the ghost of Steinbeck would be okay either way… However, Ryan would probably correct you.
