Love the pink bunny slipper. Randie’s being way too nice. That Vespid of hers has only got a smidge more luggage room than a bicycle.
Here’s a cute Vespa model inspired by a French motorcycling comic called Joe Bar. They have this on ebay too, but this picture, from some guy’s flickr site, is better.
I would think Randie would want to have some of the stuff too… but Ryan did leave a lot of stuff to her after all… he’ll probably want it back when he gets back too though.
It is amazing that all that boxed up weight is staying put on that little rack.
The picture I offered up shows a bit more sturdy of a cargo rack.
Comic thoughts for rack use…
Early morning, Randie loading coffee cargo, says, “Fred, looks like we’re at capacity,” a seagull lands on top, lets out an, “Squawwk,” down goes the rack and coffee load, Randie yells, “Medic!”
Front 3/4 view of R on the V, honking horns behind, R says, “Why is this Vespid so slow?” full pic, R looks back, two skate boarders getting a free ride (one holding onto the rack, the other holding onto the first guy) smile big smiles.
Early morning, R loading another coffee cargo, a familiar “Squawwk” sound is heard, the same seagull lands on the boxes and sticks his head inside, gulp, gulp, gawk sound comes from the box, the gull has eyes bugging out, R say’s, Fred, “we’re gonna need another triple espresso.”
Early morning, R walking out with boxes of coffee to deliver, the seagull’s sitting on the rack saying, “gawk, gawk,” R holds the boxes away from him and says, “no shoes, no service.”
Stick: Love the Joe Vespa! Hee hee! Yah, and the little rack (which I actually did research) is teensy and would never hold a stack like that!… but this is cartoon land. The lines are fuzzy.
And nice ideas… perhaps some of them will wind up in print! If I use them, I will credit you, of course.
Chase: Yah… Randie has a full apartment… what will happen? Will Ryan return and want it back? Will he call and say keep the stuff, I’m moving to The Isle of Man…? Who knows! ???
Jack: Oh, no! Snobsters at Goodwilling? Gack! I can see it in Portland. In Salinas here….not so much.
Happy to read that you may use some or all of my thoughts, you’re welcome to them and they can at least offer a creative respite on slow brain-activity days as well as fun intermissions to progressing London tales.
On the Goodwill front, I understand that there is an upscale Goodwill slated to open here featuring both designer and trendy grub at commensurate prices…yah, upscale.
AND, if you haven’t already, go back to Fun Friday Last, also known as, yesterday, and check out the cute and entertaining cat bits of a large lioness behind glass trying to eat a litte kid (sort of what Bob would see from inside his tank) and a small cat rubbing noses with a very large dolphin (the dolphin being well fed or that cat would serve as just another fish thrown in the air as a treat to snap up).

Goodwill have become kinda snobby. They don’t take things and sometimes they charge way too much for things.
