Torch
This toon is A.I.L. I was making up a name of a fictional drink… and I thought “flaming tiki torch”… that’s a good name for a drink… on a whim, I checked online… and sure enough… the drink already existed. And so came this toon. It actually sounds like a tasty adult beverage, yah?
Ah, my lack of patience would have left me short a bartender! See? I’m just not good at this ‘being a good person’ thing. On the upside, now I have a new drink to try! It’s a good thing to learn quickly and remember things, especially in a hectic job like bartending. Incidentally, Serendipity, Ryan! You found something you weren’t even looking for!
I just like saying ‘Serendipity’.
So just where is “Serendip”?
(Serendip actually once was a place-name.)
Their shirts just made my retinas go on the fritz.
“Serendip” was the old name for the island of Ceylon off the Southern tip of India, nowadays known as Sri Lanka.
