Sweater Gram
One year for Christmas, my sister and I, both of adultish age, got Christmas pantyhose from Grandma. Yes, candy canes adorned mine, Santa heads hers. We laughed for years over this well-intentioned gift. But this is the nugget that inspired this yearly toon.
Until I checked “Squid Row” this morning, I didn’t realize you’d preposted yesterday. The size should have been a clue.
Oh yes, I did go back and read the proper post for yesterday after I saw this with today’s date.

My uncle’s ex-wife used to do this. After she left, he carried on the tradition because he thought it was hilarious.
Yes, Joe… it is… next time I upload cartoons, I will do it when I am alert and chipper (ie. first thing in the morning)… not 5 minutes before I head home for dinner.

Small Dave… my condolences. Before the house fire (BRHF) Randie used to keep a box in the closet lableled “gram’s xmas sweaters”…. last year, her apartment was so cold, she actually had to WEAR Gram’s Xmas sweater. Tsk tsk.
