Ryan Off
Yellow is the most cheerful color in the crayon box. Some folks may argue. I, myself, love the blues and greens… you can have a cheerful shade of green… but notice, you have to add yellow to it.
Au revoir, Ryan… parting is sweet sorrow.

My favorite color was a fiery orange that had a bit of red to it. I forget the name of the Crayola color, but I remember it was in the 32 and 64 color box, but not in the 16.
Of course, the last time my mom bought be crayons, there were still colors like Flesh, which was changed to Peach in 1962. (Though I remember getting boxes well into the late 60s that had “Flesh” crayons. Backstock?)
And they got rid of Lemon Yellow, the best and brightest in the box!!

Woah! That’s a fun crayon chronology! They started with 8 colors!
You’re gonna love the color of an “upcoming vehicle” soon… keep your eyes peeled! Smiles.
“Flesh”!! I remember Flesh, too, and was getting it well into the 70s, probably because I grew up in the hinterlands.
I worry about Randie. Whatever will she do without Ryan? How will she get coffee?
Yah! How WILL Randie get coffee?
…And so Ryan got put on the bus by going on the taxi.
I’ve felt the same way before, Randie. Poor gal. Just won’t be the same without Rye-bread. Can we hope for semi-frequent across-the-pond check-ins?
Someone took the ‘yellow’ out of her crayon box. SO now Randie is feeling blue…or perhaps green with envy? We all know a writer like Ryan is very well red…orange you glad he’s not prone to violets?
Okay, I’m gonna shut up now.
No… Dada, keep goin’…
Meg… I shan’t devulge… but I think you’ll like where it’s goin’.
Secret Agent… Yup.
