Really See It
Like Randie, I have to take a bajillion art supply things with me whenever I know I’m going to sit down somewheres and draw… you never know what whim may take you… you might feel like using the colored pencils… or maybe the gouache (opaque watercolors) or maybe just an ink pen… BUT YOU NEED to have all of those different art supplies with you!
Squid is Flying! (Wow…there’s a visual I’d love to see)You are doing so well! Love you, girl.
Gotta love her face in that last panel.
Randie’s expression reminds me a bit of Dr. Frankenstein’s just after his monster came to life… instead of “It’s alive, it’s alive!”… it’s “I will draw, I will draw!” …. bwahh haa haa.
Aw… you says such sweet things!!! Tanks!
I’m very different on this issue. My supply pack is a pack of Bristol board, 3 Staedler 2B pencils, pre-sharpened, my favorite erase (gettin’ smaller …) and a small sharpener. That’s about all.
Oh… I love opaque watercolors… and colored pencil (often together)…. I never leave the house without my sketchbook! … and a smattering of inkpens and the like. I love to have art supply options… But mostly, an ink pen or two and my sketchbook will suffice.
ya for being a photographer, all I need is 10lbs of lenses, 2 cameras (in case one stops working) tripod, monopod, flash, extra batteries (for cameras and flash) extra memory cards, my 60yr old twin lens reflex camera, about 10 rolls of film (color and black and white at different speeds), my laptop to download and back up images, rain proofing gear, snacks and diabetic gear (stupid pancreas, pull your weight already)
so THIS is where you put in your avatar!
