Seems like Clive’s having more of an influence on Rye than the other way around.
Unshaven, a first for this comic, and in a plain, possibly hold-over, t-shirt to boot.
Can a beer belly, belches, farts and references to what is soccer as “football” be far behind?
Portland’s also got a basketball team, not like it matters.
Still, for all their bonding, if Rye wants to know if Randie’s alright, he should ask her, not Clive.
Is it just me, or does Clive seem to have the kind of laid back personality that would fit in well in the small, artsy towns along the PCH of northern California and Oregon?
Ryan’s face with the word “awright” above him got a geniune laugh out of me :)! I hope Randie’s alright too, seems her enemies are starting to outnumber her friends! Though at least Bob is safe, and we can all rest easy.
(Sorry for the absenteeism, June is the tourist season for Californians, but it’s finals season for me!)
Dragon: That’d be a Penny Farthing on Clive’s tee…. there is a beer company with a PF as their logo…. there is, of course a pub ’round here of the same name… but I doubt Clive has ever been there.
Meghan! Yay… yer back! I hope you did well on your finals!
Dada… Keep yer eye out for that ship out on the coastline… SS Scapula.
Stick: That is the most adorable slothing I’ve ever seen!
Hail, Hail. The Gang’s all… Gone?
Come on Ryan, you’re in England. Use the proper name for football.

Well, technically, Ryan didn’t ask Clive… but he ought to send Randie an email all pronto. I think he will.
Yah… and soccer isn’t really a household word in America… unless you’re 10 years old.
What? Randie and Ryan aren’t on FaceTimeBook?

Ah, a great video of Clive and soon to be Rye…

Portland…some day, when the money flows in like the tide…
(I don’t even have delusions about ever being able to afford living in San Francisco again).

Is the logo on Clive’s tee shirt actually a subconscious yearning by Rye for a hometown pub among all the drinking establishments in London?

Pete: Most certainly…. Clive would fit right in…
EofO…. they should… but they don’t.
Go Timbers!
