I think we’re back to the differences between ‘people she’d be ok hanging with’ and ‘people that are suitable for dating’. Randie has worked VERY hard as of late to be more financially stable. Hooking up with someone who’s where she was a couple years back would seem rather counterproductive.
Also, for whatever reason I now think this guy should be wearing a black suit with a heavily over-starched bowler.
Legacy… She has come a long way from being dirt poor to just… poor. Sometimes we fall in love with whomever our hearts deem to be lovable… meaning, we don’t have a say. As far as the suited bowler hat get-up… that sounds very Python.
anatman… Central California doesn’t have the same climate as SoCal. LA, Sandy Eggo, Santa Barbara have more warm temps near the ocean. Monterey gets more marine layer and cool breezes… so wearing layers is typical here… and certainly in the evening you need outerwear.
