Groceries
Ryan shouldn’t talk… he spent some serious money on candy bars in London. Cut Randie some slack here, Rye Bread. (Although, one might argue that consuming vegetables balances the whole thing out).

Having a salad with grated cheese, bacon bits, sesame seeds and ranch dressing kind of balances it out too.
Guess which one is less expensive, Randie?
Them’s brain additives. Gets the . . . whatchacallem. . . juices turning and gears flowing. ‘sright. Especially that xanthan, it actually gors ne banricelsssssssss.
Also yesterday my comment didn’t post for some reason (maybe the link?), but I was trying to say that it reminded of a Terry Jones poem called ‘Revolt of the Clothes’. Look it up, it’s funny.
Brown Sugar Pop’n Tart and coffee. That’s all you need to get the day goin’
Joe… Sounds, er… healthy?
Celery is a good “delivery mechanism” for cream cheese, peanut butter, dips and the like…
Dani… unless they’re organically grown.
Dave…. brain food, indeed! Yah… the stuff fer the things that do the stuff. Oh, and I’m sorry about the comment… there has been some problems with comments and posts (myself included). Dang free software…
Jack… I’m saying (although, honestly, I start with oatmeal… the good kind… and then I load it down with raisins, honey, and stuff)…
I see that this strip has been cloud-tagged under hydrogenated cottonseed oil and Xanthan gum. Seems like more pop tarts are in someone’s comic future. Ditto on celery, although Randie may only be involved if its popular use as a bloody mary swizzle stick is involved. Either that or its most common inadvertent use as unintended dental floss (green).
What? My salad is not healthy? All right, add cucumber slices, shredded carrot, radish slices, apple wedges, cottage cheese, a cherry tomato and half a hard boiled deviled egg.
If you want, you can add croutons and sliced ham, turkey or chicken.
That is a Mid-West style salad. The only problem is, to make room for all of that, you have to leave out the lettuce.
True/false: “Coffee is a vegetable”: discuss.
lol Empress, I insist that coffee be listed as its own special food category! 🙂
And I agree with Dani, the worse the food is for nutrients…the cheaper it is to buy. Living on Top Ramen and Mac & Cheese…will make you fat, but also make you medically classified as malnourished. Most of the time I don’t even bother going near the produce aisle, can’t afford whats in there…thank goodness for canned veggies and frozen, not as good 4 u, but a little more afforable.
Also, Brig…curious quick question…do you sell prints of individual comics? Not matted super spiffy ones, just regular good quality prints of your comics? And if you do, how much would it be?
