My office is a short drive from the local coffee roasting plant. When I get out of the car, the aroma of roasting coffee hits me right in the face. MMmmmm…
The Maka Koa altar is looking pretty nice… and scenic. Plus it’s a fountain, and fountains alway gets lots of money tossed in ’em. That and the occaisonal barefooted drunk splashing about. I’m wondering what the other, sad and guilt, tiki’s are getting. Also thinking Maka Koa would look more evil with red lightbulbs in his eyes.
Dada… Glad you like the wallpaper… it went thru a few reincarnations but it’s at a nice place right now… It does have a watery feel, don’t it? And the world needs more squids! Sadly, from an aquarium point of view… they don’t do well in captivity… so Steinhart most likely had not squids.
Eprinc…. (hi ho!)… I am glad you like Maka Koa… and yes, oh yes, you will see more of him.
stick… Somebody sent me something recently with a Hawaiian shirt stamp on it… they look nifty.
And the whole fountain with change tossed at it is definitely in the storyline somewheres in the future. It’s too good to pass up…
Mike D… you are sooo fortunate to smell joe all day… my office is above a couple of restaurants and so I smell home fries, bacon and sometimes bread from the bakery across the street… that is when the wind is right.
Yah, Pete… that’s what we need a fountain of KONA coffee! Aw yah! Only prob is, fresh coffee is best and old coffee is gross… and I couldn’t drink it fast enough! It be great at parties though, yah?
Small Dave… No! Don’t let Maka Koa hear you say such things! Alas, I fear you have encouraged the wrath of Maka Koa…
Firedome…. caw-fee you say?
WikWak (Welcome!)… yah, that’s probably it… most sealant has a most pleasant odor? no?
I believe Maka Koa just wanted to sniff the sealant…
and maybe a large cuppa cawfee, too!
Shame Maka Koa couldn’t help out in a more direct way. . . OR DID HE!?
No, he didn’t. Jerk.
Hmmm… what if instead of that being a waterfall, it was instead a COFFEEFALL!!
Oooo… the steam rising… people able to fill their cups directly from the water… err… coffeefall… this could be a GREAT idea!
Wait, wait, wait… no it’s not. It’s too early in the morning for great ideas. I need more coffee… FROM THE COFFEEFALL! 😀

Anyone out there still mail things (checks, cards, etc.) using stamps?
The post office has come out with Aloha sticker stamps that feature assorted, multi-colored Hawaiian shirts on them. Get ’em while they last.
Thanx for the laughs Bridg! Love that Maka Koa, hope he keeps popping up in the story!
The new wallpaper is looking awesome! Very aquatic; it makes me miss the old Steinhart Aquarium.
I don’t remember if they had squids there or not.

It’s not getting old that I mind. It’s the sudden stop at the end.
A Mounds bar? C’mon Randie, I thought you were a JR. Minties kind of gal. Mounds, yuck!
