Cafe Parisien
I love trotting around Google Maps. You can plop down and virtually stroll places unknown to you… or places you WILL be going. In preparation for our trip to France, my peoples and I would explore areas that seemed interesting… finding out where the fun stuff was and then planned our trip accordingly.
I use Google maps to find little bitty islands in the middle of no where that are populated despite being tens of thousands of miles from land.
I love planning trips as much as traveling. It stretches out the excitement
and makes it more fun when you plan with friends. What a great idea to use Google Maps!!
Yes those cups are very tiny but…
They contain the same amount of caffeine as in a large mug/quart or whatever Merkins use for coffee vessels.
So… these are rocket fuel and not for the faint hearted!
Salut!
I’m with Chug: I love the tiny islands in the Pacific where my sweetie and I can go and dive for months on end and be away from the rush, rush, rush of life. We did that, sorta, for a year when we lived on Oahu.
Oh, Chug… if you want to waste an entire afternoon (day?), they now have street view for virtually every path a golf cart can travel on Midway’s Sand Island. (The main island.) It’s mega-awesome. (Going to Midway and maybe even volunteering there for six months is a huge goal for me.)
Chug… I went to Angouleme before I went to Angouleme… via Google. But it really is a different experience… The Chat Noir especially. In any case, we planned this last visit to France with the help of Google Maps.
Dr Fuse… Yah… agreed. It’s like the anticipation is part of the fun! The discovery of new places is tres tres exciting!
minion…. Yes, I have been trying to find just the right coffee concoction here to replicate un grand cafe creme. No luck.
Pete… is it time for a vacation? and not a virtual one.
