Huh? Bridgett is… “now on sabbatical in Salinas, (but) she looks forward to returning to the ocean (Pacific Grove?) in the not-too-distant future. …And she loves to bowl. She hopes to someday join a league.”
Looks like there are 2 Pacic Grove folks who are currently gaining fame. There’s that little girl who lives there who recently starred in “The Descendants” a movie shot entirely on location on several of the Hawaiian islands with some guy name George Clooney, and is now on a new TV comedy series called “1600 Penn” about a funny first family. And there’s Brig Spicer, cartoonist and notable local at large.
Nice article. Scouting any interesting spots by the ocean? They tend to be pricey, but who knows, if you bowl good enough you can go pro and earn some extra ocean-front dollars (?).
Hey! They didn’t mention Bridgett’s lifelong battle with coffee-addiction! That chapter of her life could be a great TV movie on the Lifetime channel!
Great write-up, and good to know that your life is always looking up.
stick… We got a Wii for Christmas that includes bowling… so I’m getting some bowling time at home. Only problem is, the fries aren’t as good at Homestead Lanes.
The Descendants was a good film.
One day, I’d actually like to live in Monterey near Lake El Estero. In my past, I could see me living in PG for the rest of my life. I wanted to put down my roots there. Now I see it as a bit too quiet. I have other dreams now….
Dada… the interview was held in a coffee shop… there was indeed coffee…. I forgot to ask for decaf so it was a non-stop conversation… on my end.
Oprah… I wanna be on Oprah… When she comes to my house and interviews me and tours my home & coffee plantation… THAT’ll be worth the wait.
Weird… I’d posted a comment here, giving congrats, but I guess it didn’t make it to actual posting.
Well… congrats!
