Running… for something…
… I dunno what. Harold might be up to something.
Cartoonist Pal of Awesomeness, Aidan Casserly, created this little ditty. I swear, he’s an up-to-no-gooder! What am I gonna do now?
I need a commercial to run alongside. Wait… I’ll get Harold to do it! Where’s that FlipVideo camera?
On another note, and sure to cause some political SCANDAL… I will accept KAPU drink recipes through this coming FRIDAY. Yah… if you wannna submit something to the little drinkee-poo contest, email me with the recipe by Friday at midnight and the Drink Judging will begin! (Scandalous photos may be taken… political spies are everywhere!) And thank you to those who’ve already submitted… Harold is anxious to try them out!
Hell, I’D vote for you. I’m not impressed with any other candidates I’ve seen so far.
She’d call off the war over oil and begin the war over coffee. Look out, Brazil!
swell looking campaign poster…what you need now are delegates. you can’t win an election without the electoral college…
It’s only a scandal if:
A) You’re caught at it, or:
B) You act like it’s a scandal.
Back during the bitterly contested Presidential race of 1884 – and we’re talking so nasty that it makes today’s political climate look rosy and happy – Republicans came out with the accusation that Democratic candidate Grover Cleveland had fathered an illegitimate child ten years earlier. They were hoping to tarnish his reputation for high morality.
Cleveland’s solution? He admitted it openly and said he’d paid child support to the mother of their child. His honesty turned a potential scandal into a non-issue about his issue and he won the 1884 election, becoming our 22nd President.
Since you’ve come clean in advance, Brig, I’m afraid there’s no scandal here. Sorry… you’ll need to be much more secretive about something scandalous for it to be considered such when discovered. (Did that make sense?) 🙂
Pete,
I’ve seen claims that Grover wasn’t actually the father, but had taken responsibility to protect the reputation of his married law-firm partner.
