Last year on Colbert’s show he and Mandy Patinkin and Michael Stipe did a rather impressive version of “GKW” – all the verses, totally straight. Colbert’s no singer but he held his own. Check it out if you haven’t…..
Hmmm…. I remember a concert where the singers all had mikes and the Uilleann pipes (Irish bagpipes) player was in another room.

(That actually had a lot more to do with volume – the pipes are LOUD. Putting the pipes in the vestry while the singers were in the chapel was the only way for them to be heard….)
