I wish I’d gotten the title of this BD. it was at a museum about the shipyards in Nantes during WW II. The shipyards are no longer there but the history is very rich.
It seems like there are comics for any and every situation here. I was at the castle in Nantes… And inside there is an exhibition on the world wars… There were BDs (comic books) concerning each war, stories about castles… And in La Rochelle, there were comics about the Knights Templar. The books for kids have BD included… It’s very cool!
Given references to the working poor, Leon Blum, and provocateurs of the extreme right, I’m guessing this may be an incident during the “Riom Trial”.
C’est possible, Beetle. The main character seemed to travel in the comic… And he was an artist/observer.
Comics about The French shipyards of WWII? I have never heard of this!
What is BD? is that a French acronym for graphic novel or comic book?
Bande Dessinée. French for comic strip or comic book.
