Zombie Head Copy
Every now and again I suffer a migraine headache. It’ll go for about three days… and I end up looking something like the first panel.

Zombie Randie? Run for your lives, people! *zoooom*
Ooooh, Brit I know how you feel. I recently had a tension headache that lasted SEVEN DAYS. I was ready to kill someone. When I get migraines luckily they only usually last a day.
I feel for both of you, luckily mine only last about a day. They’re estrogen-triggered so they come somewhat regularly, usually mid-afternoon. Walking home from the bus on those, I probably could be mistaken for a zombie :).
Seven days of a tension headache? Sheesh! How didn’t you kill someone?
OMG I am so sorry! My younger daughter gets those fairly regularly. Nothing helps but ice and lying in a dark room. She also takes Effexor, and she can’t let her prescription lag by more than a day. She says “One day, I can survive. Two days, NOBODY survives!”
I appreciate the sympathy… I have found that I have to be careful about red wine… I must drink LOTS of water… and limit, sigh…. coffee. I do half-caf in the morning… and if I have another cup somewhere along the day (which isn’t all the time), it must be decaf.
I totally feel your pain! I have suffered from migraines forever. I take Imitrex which helps along with a freezing cold silent dark room. My poor hubby has found me curled up in the fetal postion and had to take me to urgent care for demoral (sp?) shots numerous times.
That must suck. I feel like that this when I don’t have coffee.
For me, it’s caffeine. I can handle a good bit, but if I don’t go on streaks of decaf-only, then I’ll get pounded by the migraines. The honest-to-gosh, light and sound make be barf, don’t upset Dadoo, kids, because he WILL kill you, migraine.
Off course, weaning myself OFF the caffeine periodically causes its own headache, but it’s nothing compared to a migraine. Still, I don’t love pain overly much, so I tend to stay on decaf long term, going to high test coffee during lit conventions, which has the added benefit of giving me the jolt that is so wonderful.
