Ya Know Supplies
I use my colored pencils right down to an inch high… I hate wasting stuff… besides, when they are that small, they are easier to carry around… you can fit more colors in your little box.

Noooo… I HATE stubby pencils! Can’t hold them properly. I’ve never been an actual artist, but I did drafting back in the pencil and paper days. That was somewhere between hammering on stone tablets and computers.
Ah, they make these things called pencil extenders… you pop your teensy tiny pencil on the end and you can continue on with your stub of a drawing device.
I use all my pencils this way :)! I have tiny hands so it’s not much of a problem for me, the problem is they’re so easy to lose!
I love this “You Know You’re a Starving Artist…” series so much, I hope there’s a few more coming up :)!
Glad you’re enjoyin’ the series… You’ll be happy to know that there will be more “you know’s” in the future!
Yup – I’ve got a 2B in an extender at this very moment. No colored pencils thought – all my coloring is on the ol’ computer lately.
If the colored pencils are Prismacolors, they’re worth the pain and cramps in your hand to use them right down to the nub 🙂
Funny material. HA! I hate when that happens. Artists have to eat.
I can’t draw either way, but that’s another thing. :XD
Cemalidor: I can’t draw that well either, but I don’t let it stop me 🙂
I stopped myself after failing spectacular repeatedly. ^^;; Oots is a style i can’t do as well, being simple as it comes. ^^
Hehe. I do exactly that. Good pencil crayons are expensive so I’ve been replacing each colour individually as I wear them away to nothingness. 🙂
