Yes, the “ONE GREAT PROBLEM” with writing, EVERYONE seems Hell-Bent on distracting you!
I get around this by being “Nocturnal.” Few people seem willing to “just drop by” at 2:00AM. Screws up the rest of the Day, of course, but small price to pay!
Well, she’s certainly his type, isn’t she? What’s that saying? Oh yeah: Hook, Line, and Sinker. At least he’s aware of the effect she’ll have on him. Way too many guys are completely suckered by girls. Protip to all you guys out there…… we women want to ruin your life’s work a little bit, no matter what it is! (I don’t, I play the other direction and ruin women’s lifes’ work, but same basic idea).
Squiddies… You guys crack me up. Squish does seem to be wanting to keep Ryan from his duties as a student. But more than likely, she just wants to spend some time with him… and maybe distract him at the appropriate time. Or not.
Funny, in my recent “down time” I listened to some biographies on Picasso. Picasso’s work was rather enhanced by all the women in his life. He used up his lover and then moved on to another woman.
OH… and I think I mentioned that March 3rd will be the first day of M-W-F… I thought I did, anyhow. I could be wrong.
In short, Picasso was a horrible social virus who turned burned out hearts into art. Probably karma on most artists that they’re never usually famous in their lives like they are posthumously.
Jenn… I am fascinated by Picasso… and yet, I abhor him as a person. He was cruel and tormented his lovers when he was “done” with them. He left them a burned out shell, which is why some of them went off the deep end. He was cruel to his “rival” artists… Juan Gris and Matisse… and even his friends. He was cowardly, egotistical and self-important. The only thing that mattered to him was his art…. which is why his art is so good…. because he stepped on everyone on his way to greatness. I am also listening to Picasso: Creator and Destroyer. It’s a good “listen”/read.
“It’s easy to admire someone who performs deeds and tasks you are interested in, whatever their other qualities and no matter how dastardly their deeds. It is much harder to admire the wretched when you don’t care about their works.” – Trevor Bond.
In other words, I’d have punched the guy in the throat and force fed him ‘The Weeping Woman’. Keeping in mind I’m an utter hypocrite, but I do try to leave those around me with something better than they had before even though I’m a sadist. I try to restrict myself to hurting bodies…. those heal.

Oh, I disgree, Brig – he’ll get some work done. Just not homework. 🙂
What’s this? A new Tuesday comic? I guess the Monday-Wednesday-Friday doesn’t start until tomorrow…
Na, it never works. No matter how good the intentions are (and I somehow doubt hers are!)
LA,
Remember Brig is conscientious enough to maintain a work-ahead file. She probably forgot to reset the relase dates with WordPress.
Nice one GreyWolf lol
There come times when one must ask oneself, “Is work what I really _want_ to get done?”
You’ve got to admire people who can turn off and on ‘Bambi eyes’.
