On the radio this afternoon, they gave this warning:
In Atlanta, Georgia it is against the law to tie your giraffe to a telephone pole.
So don’t do it, or you’ll get arrested.
Ah yes, a blank canvas. It sounds like my ol’ sales days.
No matter how good you did the month, or even week, earlier, you always had to start over from nothing with brand new quotas breathing down your neck.
You’re a superstar hero one day, and a miserable loser the next with your sales prospects determining your fate every step of the way.
Brig:
I love that you show Randie having a sketch to guide her art.
My own stick-figured stories (30 of ’em) range from maybe 75 to well over 200 frames and definitely make use of many storyboard sketches. Now if they could just get finished with no more added frames being added in. Yeah, right. I hear that some folks alternatively draw or paint using staged models or landscapes. Ha.
Oh and in case anyone missed it, I gave a great coupon link late in yesterday’s comments for FREE Jack-in-the-Box Chicken Fajita Pitas with drink purchases, good for the rest of this month. If you’ve got a Jack-in-the-Box nearby, this is a good coupon to use. Yum.
Good advice! Nice comic as well, beutiful in its simplicity.

Whenever I hear anyone mention a blank page or canvas, I always hear this quote from one of my few favorite musicals:
“White…..A blank page or canvas….The challenge, to bring order to the whole through Design, Composition, Tension, Balance, Light..and Harmony!”
