RN… Which part? Grace giving Mel a tee-shirt…? Or perhaps the flirty behavior…?
Yat… Yah, Grace has been exhibiting a lot of un-Gracelike behavior. Peculiar, no? She can still pull a little nastiness out of her nether region… but I chalk it up to being responsible for the care of a certain orange cat… and having booted out Ratt, the boogerhead boyfriend.
Rich… We are now subscribers… I don’t know why I didn’t do this YEEAARS ago… but Judy and I are both fans… soooo… it made sense.
I was a subscriber to Mad a zillion years ago, before they went corporate, and had advertisers to obey. I grap the odd copy now and then, but the MAD of the ’60s and ’70s is part of another era. If one can fine old issues, you will know what I mean.
Trev… I’d forgotten the theme song. All I can see are the crazy mismatched shoes.
RN… ah… My sister was a fan of the show… It was on and I casually watched it but I can’t say that I had much of an interest in the show myself.
Mark… there is a comic book shop here, Excaliber Comics, and they have back issues of Mad. I was strolling through and found an issue with The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman on the cover… but no Alfred E. Newman… I found that odd.
Pete… she’s softening a bit, ain’t she? You’ve always held the idea that she had some good inside of her… she IS capable of love. Twinkie is proof.
Punk… wink… cue the “Love is in the air” song from the disco era…
[quickly averts eyes] The horror!
Grace bought a gift for someone? Awright Brig, who is this person and what have you done with the real Grace?
I bought Mad Magazine religiously when I was in Grammar & High School!

Peoples is funny things, folks….
Suddenly I can hear that song…. the one that goes: “Thank you for being a friend….”
It’s the reference to—that show.

Grab, even…
Oh, Grace! I’ve never lost faith that there was good in you; that it only had to work through your grouchy defenses.
Yay! 😀
I knew it, blossoming love is in the air.
Judy… indeed, they are!

A way to someone’s heart. Mad Magazine. I got my first issue in 1986 with the California Raisins on the cover.
