Want Get
For the last panel, I was thinking of Linus. And for the record, self-discipline has never been a strength of mine. Eating chocolate… now THERE’s something I am good at.

So… can you want doom? Then wouldn’t Randie’s lack of self-discipline keep her from obtaining doom?
Hmmm… this approach to life must be thought on long and hard.
Poor Randie. Who thought one word could bring up so much fear?
Well, considering that Brig’s father was in the military…
Discipline… (shudder)… you can go thru life saying to yourself “I just can’t do it” or “I wish I could do that.” It’s another way of saying I don’t have the discipline to get there.
I hear that. If I had any sense of self-discipline I’d have to get a REAL job!
Ya know, the bridge is often out between expectations and reality.
I like the Linus reference, what with his security blanket being Randie’s Harold…brig’s also?
There’s also something to be said for the saying… “ready, fire, aim.”
Yes, many failures result from aiming after you “fire” but many successful efforts would not have started if their creators had thought through all the requirements that would be needed.
Discipline is also a very fine album by King Crimson.
Heavy Machinery
Wow – didn’t realize the link would embed the video. Sorry if it causes you grief…..
uwg… The machinery in the vid is cool, too bad its cropped.
Still thanks, and like I said above…ready, fire, aim.
uwg,
I felt the same way when the Police video: Every Breath You Take, was embedded as well, when I posted it.
Uwg… that’s a well-oiled machine! … (no prob on the vid)… It’s kinda like watching How It’s Made without the commentary.
Stick… you said it… it’s a bridge. Ya gatta build it.
Dada… You HAVE a real job… what we do is a meaningful… and just because we love what we do doesn’t make it any less real.
WOW, that’s one complex machine! And I’ve worked arround plenty of machines before.
