Turn Around
I love that song “Friendship” that Lucy & Ethel sing… “If yer in a JAM, here I am…” (I said jam). Anyhoo… That’s Ryan and Randie… (except they don’t tear each other’s dress apart).

Hooray for Randie! A good friend bearing much needed sustenance… and food, too!
I’ve a hunch things will be closer to normal before too long for Ryan. He strikes me as a person that not only wants a job, but knows how to get one. As for Randie… she has more of the artist’s impulses in her than Rye, and is probably doing as well as can be expected in the “real” world she can see and paint but never completely be a part of.
Like Emily? No… not at all. Emily wishes to control – in a good way – what she sees in the world. Randie wishes to display the soul of what she sees so others can see what she sees in the world. It’s that “speaking of the soul of the world” attitude that Randie and Rye share – and Emily does not – that makes them compadres.
Ha! Randie’d have to wear a dress first. That or Rye, and I’m hoping against that one.
Mmm, scones. While visiting the Monterey area…without easy web connectivity…just this morning, I’ve picked up a scone and bearclaw at Paval’s Bakery in PG (brig, you may know of this place, and if not, it’s so worth a discovery), and am now eating another scone at the PG Saveway’s Starbucks (yeah, caffine, scone plus wifi hook-up). Mmm, scones.
On the friendship side of things. I smile trying to imagine today’s Garfield using Twinkie, Ryan and Bob as its characters of note. Wow, but Jon keeps that cat well fed with goldfish.

Pete… truly. You understand Randie and Ryan. But Emily DOES write… I see many a conversation about WRITING betwixt Em & Ryan… but you are correct… they have very different views within that “sameness.”
I was brought the gift of scone (blueberry) by a pal not that long ago. I am still trying to get it off my thighs. Oh, was it good, though! But I have to work a little harder now… because Harold and the Squid Row Minions and I have made some travel plans (more on that later). It involves fish… but not goldfish.
I must admit being intrigued at the thought of these two cast as Lucy and Ethel. Which one is which?
awwwwwwwwwwww!
Aww…no wiseass comments from me today. This is just a really nice scenario.
EofO…. Hmmmm… Lucy would be Randie…
Dada… thanks, Dada…. I must say I am missing the smartas& comment though.
