Tour Afters
Randie is beginning to notice something about Skye. It’s good to find these things out in the beginning.
The relationship with my first real boyfriend … ought to have been left at this stage.

As someone who is in a band, I hate these guys. They just lay around while other people pay to make sure they have someone where to live
But will Randie listen to her head? Or her heart?
And what’s going through Skye’s head and heart? If Randie were to give him her life info, how would that sound in Randie’s ears?
Yeah, no. ‘Starving artist’ is one thing, ‘lazy git with no plans or real ambition’ is another all together.
Kid what ain’tn’t growed up yet seems to sum him up.
The Auld Grump – while ‘ain’t’ is actually a reasonable contraction of the archaic ‘an it not’ there is no excuse for ain’tn’t in the above sentence….
Interesting – I had no idea where ain’t came from. I always just avoid using it unless I’m doing a character.
Yeah, ‘an it’ and ‘an it not’ fell out of use towards the 18th century, held on longer in Scotland and in Appalachia, due to linguistic isolation.
The contraction held on longer, and had to be more or less deliberately removed from common usage. 😛
The Auld Grump – an it not be pleasing to the ear then why claim it so?
