Used to only eat fish that was battered and fried first but looking at my health recently (and wanting badly to hear my doctor say I don’t have to take a statin anymore) I’ve reassessed my diet. I have found that I actually like sushi, at least some kinds of it – but I still get the same queasy feeling I always have, just *thinking* about the smell of sardines.
Seems so: http://www.sardinesociety.com/2009/05/michel-cluizel.html o.O
I once had cheese and sardines on toast.
Don’t eat cheese and sardines on toast.
Sardines!!! That truly is an evil gnome! :OP
and now you wake up?
Kinda like the horse head scene….with sardines! Randie won’t eat with the fishes.
William… Oooooo… these are my people… and Randie’s, too!
Sm. DAve…. yah… cheese, no. Mustard, that’s different.
Joe… ha… except that Randie loves sardines! BKWs are her favorite!
Mary… nightmare? or gnomemare?
Jack… ha ha! shudder…
Personally, I prefer smoked kippers, without the internal organs.
OK, somebody has to say this, so I will:
“There’s something fishy about that gnome!!!”
Now the rest of you are …off the hook.
A. Rat… WAH WAH!
I am fond of Herring. In general, I dig most canned fish offerings, but the anchovies are too salty for my taste.
There’s probably a ball park somewhere that offers deep-fried sardines.
I love a Pepperoni & Anchovie pizza!
Provided there aren’t any anchovies on it…
I love the gnomes goofy face. Great job Brig! :O)
…aaaaaaand Randie is now in the Twilight Zone.
I miss Maine sardines – scalier, bonier, and fishier. I used to love them.
But the last of the Maine packing plants closed 18 April 2010.
The Auld Grump – whole pilchards could be used for Stargazy Pie, a dish suitable for a horror movie, but tasty.

::shudder::
No thanks.
