Terms
You all remember Rat, Grace’s boyfriend, yah?
I have two siblings… My brother’s affectionate name for our little sister was “Dork.” I thought I would use this term of endearment in the strip.
Oh, and this week of toons is for all you Grace fans out there.
Well, I wouldn’t say I’m a Grace fan. More like a Grace-story-line fan. I’m glad we do get a week of her, though; it’ll add depth to her character, which is just as important for the “bad guys” of a story as it is for the good guys. (Though I’ll never think of Grace as evil-bad. Just grouchy-bad.)
Pete…. I think this week is good for “Grace relations.” Ha! A pun!
Ahem… you Grace fans will like I think.
How sweet…terms of endearment. Here at My place of employment i have a co—Worker who calls me “dweeb” agile i Call her doof.
firedome… THAT IS sweet! Doof is a favorite word of mine… it makes me smile and want to say “What a doof!” more. Thank you for sharing.
Rat is back! I think this is the first time he’s ever had any dialogue (maybe…any Squiddies want to correct me on that?).
And who else giggled at the possible subtext of the line, “What if I don’t wanna, dork?”.
Dada… you might be right… and subtext… enlighten us.
“Iron Laiden” – gee, wonder who that could be…..
/now I have “The Trooper” stuck in my head – or is it “The Troofer”?
uwg… I can’t say that I’ve ever listened to Iron Maiden… but the artwork sort of fascinated and terror-fied me as a kid.
Rat-a-tat-CAT!
