As much as they might like each other; as much as Ryan may want to help Randie; this is why they will probably never really get together. What Randie DOESN’T need right now is a lecture from Mr. Perfect; she needs a HUG DAMMIT! And a HUEG coffee.
Ryan had best watch himself and be sure to cultivate a bad habit or two. Otherwise he’ll end up like Mark Twain’s friend:
“I went to an elderly lady friend of mine who’d become so ill that medicine could no longer cure her. I told her, ‘Ma’dam, I can cure you! All you need to do is not drink or smoke or consume rich foods.’ She informed me that she couldn’t stop doing any of those things because she’d never done them. So there it was… she’d neglected her bad habits. She was like a sinking ship with no ballast to throw overboard. Why, just one little bad habit would have saved her. But she was just a moral pauper.”
Yes, Randie, could use one of those Trente mega coffees right now… (that is, if they went to the place that serves them)… and followed by a hug… maybe a ride to work.
And sadly, Ryan can get on his high horse from time to time…. but Randie is a handful sometimes… moody and emotional and she often “over-emphasizes” things to the point of being dramatic (she’s an artist for goodness sake!)… so I don’t blame Ryan for being less sensitive in certain situations… But all in all, Ryan is really a supportive and caring fellow… except when it comes to Scrabbled.
Pete, I liked your “Twaining”… Ryan would appreciate that as well.
Ah yes, artists and their emotions. But then again, writers are artists too, and numerous writers have been quite the handful(Let’s not get started on Lord Byron), so maybe Ryan should try to be more like Randie :)!
Taxes AND work!?! Man, sometimes life is so unfair!

BEWARE, Ryan!

I keep hearing the commment he/she is an artist to explain eratic behavior. I wish I was an artist. People just point and me and say he’s nuts.
