Surgery
I go all queasy when I see blood… I wouldn’t do well in any profession involving seeing the blood. EMT people, firemen/paramedics, doctors, nurses…. my hats off to all of you… for seeing the blood.

I used to freak out with needles. Multiple (and painful) life experiences have taught me to not freak out. Not even a tiny bit.
I’ve never had trouble with seeing blood. Raising five sons will do that to you.
Blood doesn’t bother me, either…being a tomboy and hanging out with crashy kids helps. But seeing those I love in pain…that messes me up. Poor Harold.
Pete… needles… yah… and with 5 boys, it’s amazing you’re still alive!
Jude… Yah… It’s a good thing that Enid is RIGHT there!
and Yah… I hate gorey Horror films, too… can’t do ’em.
Randy faints at the sight of cotton!
Looks like that lush, Harold, is getting his drink on again. I wonder what is in that I.V. drip bag. Looks like Randie could use some if only she can get around the delivery needle being stuck into her arm. Bottoms up.
Get a grip, Randie dear.
Seeing blood? Meh, not that big a problem.
Seeing **MY** blood, or the blood of my loved ones — that’s a whole different ball of wax!
Why does your doll thing need an operation? Who thought it did? What doctor did it remind you of?
Dada… yes… in stufftie form…
stick… yah… dunno… who knows what’s in person-IV’s … I’m sure someone knows.
EofO… it’s hard when someone you love is in a compromised position… will Harold look the same after surgery? will he have scars? will he be… okay?
DCS… agreed. I get all kinds of queasy.
bill… He needs to go under the needle… I’m sure he’s under some sort of anesthesia…. so it’s okay. Randie doesn’t sew, so she had to take Harold to surgery at Enid’s (she is a SEAMstress… not a “sewer”…. right, guys… ?) Hmmm…. doctor? Not sure. Is there a doc out there with crazy curly hair?
The sight of stuffing makes me faint.
I did CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) work for 8 years, A CNA deals with a lot more than just blood! 🙂
