Suggestion: Sub-let care of Bob to B.B. Either Twinkie will continue to be a bother to Randie, but Bob will be safe; or Twinkie will head over to his real owner’s home and show B.B. what a pain he can be. (And Randie will get a respite from Twinkie-festation.)
The only sad part of this plan is that B.B. might not really follow up on the responsibilities of pet carer-ship and Twinkie will show up, kill Bob, then head back to Randie’s, leaving Twinkie smug, BB indifferent, and Randie with a double-dose of guilt.
Ha! Twinkie-festation…. somebody call the exterminator. I think Randie should just get a dog, yah? And not one of those little yipper-type dogs… something more with jaws of death!
People who let their cats roam outside make me cringe. Eventually, that cat’s ‘freedom’ is gonna lead to its tragic, possibly violent, most likely gruesome, death. All our cats have been indoor…after being rescued as strays…and not one of them seems to miss outrunning danger every minute of their lives.
And there is the attitude of many cat owners that irritates the snot out of me….no, they won’t “just roam” if you KEEP THEM INDOORS. And as Dawn said it’s a lot safer for the cat, too. My dog nearly caught one that hid in our backyard – she only missed it because I called her off. She’s FAST and has caught and killed a squirrel before.

There’s always the option of keeping your pet in a cage all day long…but honestly, why must people do that?

yeah, we keep our cats in as well. Meybe Randy could get a large dog, possibly a mastiff.
