Strength
B.B. and Leroy are in for a long haul. Moving a preemie isn’t an option. They must remain in the hospital until their would have been due date… on a ventilator. And even if Beebs & Leroy’s local hospital was equipped to handle a longterm NICU stay, most insurance companies wouldn’t cover the move. Beebs and Leroy will need to be strong… for their new little boy, and for each other.
My heart goes out to all you preemie parents out there. I learned a lot writing this storyline.
And Ryan wound up hosting them anyhow. *** see a few weeks ago.
Yeah, see Ryan would have saved himself a lot of trouble if he’d just agreed to host them in the first place. 😀
HAHAHA love the last panel, a place that’s not a closet. Sorry Leroy and B.B. Randie did warn you!
Glad they have good friends like Ryan though that will help them out while they need to stay close to baby boy.
I know you’re not sharing your plans yet Brig but I will miss the toon and the other squiddies 🙂
Rescuing seems to be the go to move for Rye Bread!
Gramy… it was no trouble to Ryan… but it seemed to be some trouble for Randie (the gawd-awful-uprising-so-early-in-the-morning kind).
Ep… It was joked that Randie is renting “a hallway with plumbing.”
As troublesome as B.B. is, she is a friend… and friends help each other out. B.B. was there for Randie when Randie’s rented house went up in flames.
And it’s not going anywhere… Hopefully all you Squiddies will stay with me while I re-organize, re-visualize and re-vitalize Squid Row in whatever shape and/or entity it takes. I love this community and I promise you’ll dig the new stuff!!!
Fun Mike… You gots it. Ryan is always to GO TO GUY…. ever the problem-solver.
A pretty serious turn for the comic. I think it’s been a good one, too. Well, done, Brig! Well done!
Oh, man. Ryan just saved Randie’s butt.
It never rains but it pours, and the only umbrella is a good friend or two.
