I think that’d actually be kinda cool. What if you made like a giant building out of Pop’n Tart boxes? When visiting Belgium, there was an (art piece) house made out of beer containers. So what would that say? This is the house that beer built? or Pop’n Tarts?
I do an art project with my students every spring, using the Kleenex boxes the class has emptied during the school year. I call it Thinking outside the Box.I give no examples…they figure out their ideas with their friends or on their own. This year they made cars, alien space craft, castles, and birdhouses. Sometimes, whatever you have laying around IS the best thing!
Could this be how Andy Warhol got his start? 😛
I used to take my fathers cigar boxes and spray paint them wild colors.
then, I would glue cigar bands onto the lids. To finish, I would then glue bottle caps around the sides. They made great gifts!
There’s always something about have lots of the same thing that bring out the “craftiness” in people, isn’t there? Especially if the thing has a basic geometric shape, like a Pop’n Tart. (Which, by the way Brig, the Pop Tart people should BUY that name from you and use it. Quick! Trademark it!)
Judy… shaping creative brains with kleenex boxes is brilliant! well done to you!
UWG… ha! Except HE got paid for his work.
squid… boxes with style… yay!
Pete… I could see Randie’s face on the box, couldn’t you? Maybe I need to go buys some of those Pop Tarts and paint up a prototype…
