Spirit
I love the joyous splendiferous feelings of Christmas… the Christmas Spirit and good will towards others. AND the senses are fully engaged at Christmas… we experience not just the sights and smells of the season … but also the kindness to one another. Now I know that some will be quick to point out the downsides… the rush, the mindless gift-giving and such… but that is what we’ve made it. At the core of Christmas, is the joy. I love the joy.
Awww, Twink and Grace, what a happy, if unfamiliar feeling for them both. Twink has come to regret a lack of Grace in his life, and will probably stay closer to home.
Twinkie is still B.B.’s cat?
@Yat, apparently to Grace’s way of thinking, anyway, although there are clear signs of that in the process of changing…
Of course, Twinkie’s still B.B.’s. Otherwise Gracie wouldn’t have an excuse to explain his presence. She would have to admit she wanted to keep him around.
Officially Twinkie is, and always has been, B.B.’s cat.
Although there is a degree of feline denial of this.
First: Rye-bread! Nice to see him again! Second: Heart cannot take too much of nicety from Grace (even with Christmas to blame). It’s already grown three sizes from start of this arc and anymore might have it burst from my chest any day now!
Yeah… well… I love the joy too. 😉
She’d be better off being visited by ghosts instead of Twinkie.
Scott… I like how you said that…”a lack of Grace in his life…” Nicely put.
Yat, Rich, Mary, Beetles… yes, B.B. still, technically, is the owner… but cats CHOOSE their “owners” for sure. I will direct your attention to who it was that Twink called out for in the animal shelter.
Fun Mike… I’m glad you like seeing Ryan. It has been a while, ain’t it? And in response to your comment… I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that.
RG… Yay! We love the joy! JOY JOY JOY!
Dada… Ha… she’d enjoy it more, for sure.
Scrooge Coffee: Black with bits of coal sprinkled on top…extra hot.
RE: Ryan’s comment. Yep.
