Spilled Paint
I can’t stand to waste paint. I would totally do the same thing here…. despite the dangers.
So this toon was originally slated for last Sunday… and the week you are about to see is the week I had to “insert” when my computer blew up. Thusly, it pushed the toons I’d originally set for this coming week… it pushed it to next next week (the week of the 19th). Gah…
I simply love how even though what Randie saw was a bunch of paint hitting the floor, the look on her face makes you think she just watched a schoolbus full of kittens and nuns catch fire then go off a bridge … which was also on fire. XD
We always take it so much more seriously when it’s closer to our heart, don’t we? I would have no qualms throwing out old paint … but as for the 6 or 7 old computer chassis I have sitting around (most of which can’t even be powered up due to various issues) on the other hand …
I feel ya, Randie, I feel ya. I had the same look on my face the day my old laptop took a swan dive off my desk. Didn’t know life had a slow-motion button until that day.
Nothing goes to waste in the world of Randie. The Gulls would love hangin’ out at that dumpster.
Nice to have this toon make its appearance. Very colorful and impromtu. It’ll be interesting to see what was made up as emergency filler material. Maybe it will involve coffee and a certain striped cat.
I really like this one! š It’s nice to see someone making the best of a bad situation, haha.
Today’s comic looks great!…perhaps colored with shattered paints?
As a former art supply shop clerk and an artist, I have to say that I LOVE that first panel! That is the essence of an art supply shop. Great job! I like the added touch of those two unopened boxes of stock sitting on the floor to the left of the counter.
