Spilled Jelly
It’s amazing how food soothes. Whatever the problem, there’s nothing better than a pint, or jar, or box of jelly, ice cream, chocolates. What do you do when the problem to begin with is… food?

Uh oh…looks like jam is to Randie what Nutella is to me.
Wonder if she’s gonna chase that sugar rush with some straight, black joe?
Whew, talk about heart-rate overdrive.
The Sacramento paper talked up a happy hour spot out here that serves Guinness Floats. Yup, the dark stuff poured into pint glasses having a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream in ’em. Supposed to be a great feel’in-good refresher, especially so when the temps heat up.
Maybe even a temporary antidote to jelly-pinching guilt.
Oh, brrr. What’s with the cold temperatures and rain at the end of May? I don’t envy the folks here in town for our Jazz Festival who are attending outdoor venues. Good thing for global warming, or it’d be snowing, ha. Relief is being spelled Papa Murphy’s Pizza, now in the oven.
Hmm, slow day in discussion-land.
OK, one more…
With Randie expecting to get yelled at for eating most of Ryan’s jams and jellies, what does she decide to do? Polish off another one.
Dang, girl, at least leave him one uneaten jar from his prized collection.
“Warn’t”…man, I haven’t heard that in a while. Good ol’ sailor talk!
…well, Randie does live pretty close to the shore, right?
mmmm…. nutella… mmmm, pizza… guinness float? That DOES sound like something Randie would like…. but, uh…she goes for the lighter color beers (for some reason… )
EofO… Randie DOES like Nutella. Yes, she’s a fan. The Nutella that is sold on this continent tastes different than the Nutella in Europe. I believe it’s the palm oil that is different. I like the Euro Nut better.
Arrggg… Dada… Randie be a pirate… warn’t no question, matey.
@stick-figurer;’ where do you live that you have cold weather this weekend? I would love to have some of that — especially after 3½ hours in 90° heat and sun for my son’s college graduation ceremony!
“Jelly guilt”, the worst kind of guilt!
DCS: Congrats on yer kid graduating… from where?
Jack: I’m saying!
