Silliest thing…
Night of the Cow-People… (which is a throw back to “Were-cows” a Doctor Demento gem… moo-moo-moo)…
I don’t think I know anybody with a pug… but quite frankly, let’s shoot them all up into space…
Inter-galactic Space Monkey from Mars... a must see. A real classic!
And for the record, I haven’t seen the new Ex-Men movie.
Do the comics guys ever write a comic somebody’d want to read?
Night of the Cow People…I bet Gary Larson wrote the script for that one.
The insanity that is comics has a lot in common with spaghetti. Lots of conflicting bendy threads all tied in knots, and the best way to see if something works is to throw it to the wall and see if it sticks. We live in a time when Rocket Racoon is a popular character…… AGAIN! And yet comic folks are SO picky about this stuff and the movies made from it…… life is so weird.
When does Squid row get a tv show or something, anyways?
As you know, I could go on and on about comic books. AND I can speak with authority. But I’m not going to. 😉
I will say that while we have watched most of the X-Men movies – but not all – we found the most recent one, “Logan”, excellent.
Squid Row, The Motion Picture….
Killer Space Pugs!
You guys crack me up… Yes, there ought to be at least some animations of Squid Row… maybe “shorts”… but I don’t know that I could find the right voice for Randie and Ryan… hmm.
Comics ARE funny… weird plots, bizarre endings and characters that come and go from the land of the dead… Soap Operas for sure.
I have heard that the new X-Men film is pretty good.
I forgot about the Gary Larson bit… yah… he’d make a good script for that.
Pugs. You just cannot help but laugh at pugs.
There’s a lot of talented voice actors around, never give up before you try!
Trev… I was watching Scoobie Doo with my niece the other day… it was a “current-ish” episode. And the voice of the villain was unmistake-able… I recognized it immediately … it was the voice of Christine Baranski … dramatic/comedic/theater actress of excellence. She played Mary Sunshine in “Chicago” (the movie). You can now add Scoobie Doo voice actress to her credit.
