Shock
Shocked and awed?
I’ve been waiting for this day… Grace HAD to stick around… but how? Randie avoids her like the plague when she can… I gots it! Yes… she works nearby…. at a frequented coffee joint…. where there is no choice but to see and deal with her!
Ew-w-w-w… Did… Not… See… That… erg… faint. Klunk!
I was thinking they had to realize the only person left they could employ would be her, with her knowledge of the art store workings… this is better 😀
DUN!
DUN!
DUUUUUUUUUUUN!
Also: reread this strip with this playing in the background: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xhx_B45xxxQ
It’s ok, Randie – just ignore the troll, get your coffee, and go to a table in the corner where you can pretend the troll doesn’t exist. At least you don’t have to work with her anymore.
Ha!
*hehe* EXCELLENT solution, Brig. Of course, now Grace will have the upper hand. Randie will come to get her first coffee of the morning and be unwilling to risk any snappy comebacks. (Nor would she be able to BEFORE her coffee.)
If you think about it, this might be the perfect job for Grace. She’ll be the one to handle the Grumpies who done’t cheer up until they’ve had their first cuppa joe.
Yeah, except now she can complain to Grace’s boss less risk of reprisal (it’s not like Grace can get any nastier, and now she can’t mess with Randy’s ability to do her own job).
Nice twist! haha no tip for you, troll!
Cue the Psycho ‘stab music.’ *Reee! Reee! Reee!*
I figured Grace would have to stay around, but had no idea how. This should prove interesting.
She’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!
… so you guys missed ‘er, yah?
Joe… are we gonna have to get the smelling salts?
Well, the “stab music” link is perfect for viewing this strip, Small Dave… and the proximity of Grace to the new store will certainly keep her in the storyline. I couldn’t let Grace go… she’s too fun to write for.
Poor Randie and Mouse. They’ll be trying to duck around “the beast” for their coffee fix. We’ll see how much luck they have there.
Empress approves of this plot twist. A certain surly young lady might have to improve her social skills to keep her new position–and it’s not Randie.
EofO… Social skills aside… you LOVE GRACE, don’tcha?
I’m awake coach…
To me, Grace is like fingernails on a blackboard. Annoying at best, grounds for murder at the worst.
