Shakespeare
There’s something both cozy and unkempt about this icon of the left bank. The books line the walls, floors, and anywhere you can shove a livre. The space is small despite the two floors… there are nooks and odd angles and a small apartment upstairs. When we visited last, it was to be remodeled somewhat and I look forward to seeing it now that 3 years have past since our last visit.
Ooooo … I could see spending a day or two hanging out in there.
But shouldn’t that be “Anonymous and Company”? 😀
Wait … what’s with the pitchforks and torches … aw, hell …
::RUNS!::
…I REMEMBER THAT STORE! Sadly, I did not go in it during the time I was there. Makes me sad that I missed out on such a beautiful book store. :/ You’re bring back all the memories that I forgot about, and it makes me so happy!
The same feeling occurred to me when I visited Powell’s last week.
I love Randie’s slightly-aroused face in the first panel; the thought of Shakespeare makes her feel, uh, “randy”.
