Leading by example? Nice thing that Feather is a relative and all. Otherwise she’d be starting as a busgirl and would have Ryan crashing into her. Ah, nepotism.
Pete… Yah, that busboy seems understanding alright, as in speak out and you’re fired.
When I was bussing, while in high school, the waiters and waitress’s were called, “food servers,” and those bussing the tables were called, “food server attendants.” The idea was to get out of the attendant role of servicing to the do-little, tip earning, food servers. Only here, the table jockey gets upstaged by a no-experience relative of the owner who comes in as his boss. I wish that I could say that this never happened to me…many times over, but I can not.
If there was justice in the world, Ryan would apologize to the busboy and clean up the mess, but that won’t happen.

At least the busboy seems understanding, if in pain. I notice those are stars on the fourth panel and not # $ ! @ symbols. 😀
This is bringing back too many traumatic memories of food service days. Brig, you are a cruel, cruel woman.
That bus boy should’ve said ‘Behind you!’ or ‘corner!’
