Sennelier
Sennelier is nestled between the Art School in the St. Germaine des Pres area and The Louvre… an ideal local. When I visited Sennelier on my first trip to Paris, it was an experience… there were many many drawers of pastels… the expensive “toys” there were way above my budget… the employees all wore lab coats… and the building felt … very historic and… I could feel the heavy artistic history weighing on me. It was exhilarating and strange at the same time.
Oh, THANKS for the post card, Brig! It arrived over a week ago, but I didn’t know if I should post a thanks here or not. Someone else did yesterday, so I felt better about doing it.
THANKS! (Ben enjoyed reading it, too!) 🙂
Pete,
I resemble that remark.
Pete and Joe… yer welcome…
Funny though, I walked by Sennelier, but did not go into the shop on this trip… but I did go into Dubois over by the Pantheon. The shop owner was tres gentile… (I think she liked Harold… I introduced her)… I bought a sketchbook and some watercolor pencils, which she gave to me gratis. Dubois gets my happy smilie faces!
